CAALA Gala 2022

Our Approach & Solution

Our collaboration with the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) aimed to create an engaging motion graphics package for the CAALA Gala 2023, an annual awards event. This project presented a unique challenge as we had to work with just two existing Asian dragon-themed images.

Throughout this project, our team encountered notable challenges. The limited foundation of only two dragon-themed images required us to develop the entire graphics package, including an introductory sequence, award winner announcements, and lower thirds for the event’s content. In light of tight deadlines, we opted to use a pre-built template, which, despite its initial resemblance to an ’80s aesthetic reminiscent of “Saved By the Bell,” ultimately proved to be a valuable resource in complementing the dragon theme.

The response from the event audience was overwhelmingly positive. The motion graphics package seamlessly integrated with the CAALA Gala 2023 proceedings, adding an element of sophistication while maintaining thematic consistency.

The impact of the graphics package was substantial for CAALA. It raised the bar for their visual representation, surpassing previous materials and setting a new standard. Our creative approach in incorporating the dragon theme contributed significantly to the event’s overall success, leaving a lasting impression on attendees and paving the way for future endeavors.
